DANISH DESIGN × PLATISUR SPAIN
A shared vision for building brand awareness, supporting our retail partners and expanding Danish Design across Spain.
Explore our visionMARKETING STRATEGY DISCUSSION — OCTOBER 2026
A new chapter. Written together.01 THE OPPORTUNITY
With an initial marketing budget of approximately €5,000, our ambition is not to compete with major watch brands through nationwide advertising.
Instead, we believe in a more focused approach: building awareness around selected retail locations, encouraging consumers to visit participating stores and creating measurable value for our existing partners.
By working locally, staying flexible and keeping production in-house, we aim to maximise the amount invested directly into advertising.
Less waste. More focus.
Greater retail impact.

02 OUR SHARED APPROACH
We do not want to arrive with a fixed marketing plan. We want to build it together, combining our strengths and deciding jointly where and how our investment will have the greatest impact.
Brand expertise.
Creative resources.
Digital marketing capabilities.
Local market knowledge.
Established retail relationships.
Spanish consumer understanding.

03 THE LOCAL GROWTH JOURNEY
An experience that connects the first impression to the shop floor.
SELECT A STEP TO EXPLORE ↓
CREATE LOCAL AWARENESS
Reach consumers around selected Danish Design retailers. Focus our media investment on the areas where a local retail experience is within reach.
Explore the advertising approachFrom local awareness to real retail opportunities.
04 ADVERTISING STRATEGY
Rather than spending our limited budget during the most competitive advertising periods, we propose exploring opportunities outside peak advertising seasons.
By entering the market earlier or choosing less crowded periods, we may be able to achieve more cost-efficient reach.
Advertising costs and purchase behaviour must be assessed together. Our objective is not simply to find the cheapest impressions, but to reach potential customers at the right moment.
A MORE CONSIDERED RHYTHM
Choose retail areas and a commercially relevant moment together.
Explore an earlier window, instead of concentrating spend in the final days before 14 February.
A second focused wave, informed by local opportunities and learnings from the first.
Two proposed campaign waves. Precise timing and locations to be determined together.
Spend smarter, not louder.
05 THE SPANISH LANDING PAGE
The same Danish Design feeling.
A more local conversation.

CONCEPT PREVIEW The Spanish website shown here is a concept, not a live consumer platform.
Consumers who discover Danish Design through our advertisements should arrive on a dedicated Spanish-language landing page. The page will introduce the brand, showcase selected watches and make it easy to discover where Danish Design can be purchased locally.
The store locator will be one of its most important features, guiding customers towards participating retailers rather than prioritising direct online sales.
We propose creating this experience together with the Platisur team to ensure that the language, messaging and presentation feel natural to Spanish consumers.
06 RETAIL ACTIVATION
Generating store visits is only the beginning. Once consumers enter the store, Danish Design should be visible, recognisable and part of the conversation.

Explore the possibility of providing selected retail staff with a Danish Design watch to wear, making the product part of their everyday customer interactions.

In the Netherlands, we have introduced a modest loyalty initiative where retail staff can collect points through Danish Design sales. These points may be redeemed for practical rewards, such as subscriptions or everyday services.
We would like to demonstrate how this initiative works and explore whether a similar concept would be interesting for the Spanish market.
Visible in-store. Present on the wrist.
Top of mind in the sales conversation.
07 GROWING THE RETAIL NETWORK
Our strategy should benefit the retailers already representing Danish Design while also creating a compelling proposition for new retail partners.
Local advertising can become an additional reason for a jeweller to introduce the collection: not only are they gaining a watch brand, but they are also joining a growing network supported by coordinated marketing activity.
We would like to explore a growth model in which new retail openings can contribute to future marketing investment. As a discussion example, a percentage of the initial purchase value from a new retailer could be reinvested in local advertising.
An idea to explore together. No percentage, opening-order requirement or commercial arrangement has been agreed.
08 BUDGET & EXECUTION
A focused investment.
A shared responsibility.
Our priority is to direct as much of the available budget as possible into consumer-facing advertising.
Creative development, campaign management and landing-page production should be handled in-house wherever practical.
Both Weisz Group and Platisur may be able to contribute internal resources. Together, we can determine the most efficient setup.
Two focused advertising waves.
Practical in-store support where needed.
Internal resources wherever possible.
The final budget allocation will be agreed jointly, based on the selected retail areas, expected media costs and local opportunities.
09 HOW WE MEASURE SUCCESS

EIGHT TOPICS TO EXPLORE TOGETHERStart with retailer engagement, collection presentation and current sell-out. Which partners are ready to take part?
Map the participating stores together. Look for areas where a focused local campaign can support several relevant retail partners.
Combine Platisur's market knowledge with gaps in the current Danish Design network to choose areas to explore.
Consider local buying moments, retailer priorities and expected advertising costs before agreeing the two campaign windows.
Agree who can contribute creative production, Spanish copy, media management, landing-page development and reporting.
Ask participating retailers what would help: window communication, display materials, product knowledge or a watch on the wrist.
Demonstrate the Dutch initiative, then discuss local interest, practical administration and rewards that would make sense in Spain.
Explore whether a share of opening purchases could support local advertising. Any terms would need a separate joint agreement.
